We are celebrating our 50th anniversary all year long. We have special events, speakers and family activities planned.  Here is a peek at some upcoming major events. All programs are free. Register by naming the event you would like to attend in the subject line.

November 8, 2 PM: Williams Barn
GCT Birthday Bash
Our official birthday will be a family affair at The Williams Barn.  We will have activities for all ages,  barn music with the Contra Banditos featuring Bev Rodrigues. Richard Roth, the creature teacher will be on hand showing off some of the critters that live on our land.

Kids of all ages can build a bird house on the spot! And of course we will take a walk.

Our 50th Birthday Bash will conclude with a talk by renowned bear expert Ben Kilham. Ben operates an extensive rehab facility for orphaned black bear cubs in Lyme, NH, where he has raised and released dozens of young bears into the wild over the years. Ben will show slides and video, and describe insights he has gained during decades of close observation and interaction with these intelligent and surprisingly social creatures. Q & A will follow.
