Angus Acre

2 acres on Martins Pond Road and abutting Martins Pond Brook, obtained from the Webber family in 2004. Most of the site is dominated by a mixed deciduous forest community with a composition characteristic of disturbed areas. The canopy is dominated by red maple, various oaks and scattered white pine. The sub-canopy is largely deciduous, again with diverse species which represent components of many communities. The parcel contains a segment of trail off of Angus or Scarlett Hill and is adjacent to a stream as well as a number of drumlins. angus_acre
