GCT Annual Meeting: May 11

The Public is Welcome
6:30 PM, Lawrence Academy

Join us for our annual meeting at 6:30 PM for light refreshments followed by our program at 7.  Speaking this year will be trustee Michelle Ruby, giving a talk she prepared and presented at the MA Land Conservation Conference.

The presentation, with the impressive title Field Experiments in Invasive Plant Management for Land Trusts and Best Management Practices and Case Studies for Controlling Invasive Species on Conservation Lands shares our findings from our experiments on various GCT properties that evaluated cost (in time and money) and practicality of invasive management techniques.  This work was made possible by a grant to the GCT from the Community Foundation of North Central MA in 2014.  The field work was done in 2014 and 2015.

This is also the time to install new officers and update our membership roster.  And speaking of membership, one thing we gleaned from our member survey was to create a consistent time for dues.  The May meeting has traditionally been when we see many of our members so this will also be the time for membership renewal.

We hope to see you there!
