Conservation Summit Recap

In the middle of our snowy February, fourteen organizations shared information at the firstSnow hike Groton Conservation Summit held February 11 at the Groton Country Club.  About 65 people braved the cold to hear what is being done in and around Groton. Topics ranged from turtles to rail trails. The event was co-organized by the Groton Conservation Trust, the Groton Conservation Commission and the Groton Trails Committee. With the success of this organizing event, stayed tuned for a regular gathering of this group.  If you are interested in participating in this group, let us know. Many thanks to Mary Metzger for taking notes and writing a summary of the event.
